Closing Rosebank Branches Before Official Closing Time

We went to buy 2 SIM cards for our business at 17h45 on Thursday the 24th of January 2019 at your branch located at The Zone @ Rosebank. The store was already closed even though your closing time is stated as 18h00. The staff inside the store refused to open up for me even though I indicated that they had closed the store 15 minutes early (every single shop except for Vodacom was naturally open). We then proceeded to run to your other branch at The Mall at Rosebank and they were also closed (5-7 mins. before 18h00). The staff members would not even approach the door, one of them, in fact, went to hide at the back because I was upset and wanted to take a photograph so you could see how they treat your customers and who they are (I do have a video and I will share it with you). Once again - Every single store INCLUDING YOUR COMPETITORS (MTN and Telkom) were open and assisting customers until 6pm. What your staff members do not realise is that they lost a sale for 2 new prepaid accounts - Such a short-sighted way of running a business. As clients, we all struggle to get good service from all cellphone companies in this country, but Vodacom is negligent and careless - How can your staff feel entitled to just close a store and ignore the trading hours of the mall AND laugh it out? We have purchased our chips from one of your competitors and we will initiate a relationship with them, hoping to replace our current Vodacom accounts in the very near future. It is only until customers stop supporting this type of lazy and rude behaviour that you as suppliers will start to value our time and money.

Contrary to Vodacom's public response above, nobody ever contacted us. This is why their service will never improve - Their employers are allowed to behave inappropriately without consequences, and the customer does not matter because the brand has a captive audience. One would think that closing a store before the official closing time and losing 2 pre-paid accounts would grab the attention of someone at Sales - But not even that! The 2 branches at Rosebank poorly run by both their managers (@The Zone and at The Mall). We walk past the stores almost every day and you can see the staff sitting on their phones, customers walking in and they don't even engage with them... everything is too much trouble. Vodacom needs to send a mystery shopper to experience it 1st hand - You will be shocked.
