Client service at Vodacom do not exist
I visited Vodashop Cycad Center two times to upgrade my phone, they did not have the A5 2016 in stock. They said they could get it from another shop but I had to find out who had stock. I phoned Schoeman Street branch and they had stock, but said Cycad had to request it from them. After 4 calls and no response from Cycad I decided to upgraded my phone online at www.vodacom.co.za. The advertised offer is for a Samsung Galaxy A5 2016 model (Includes FREE Galaxy Gear Fit and R10 000 Online Educational Voucher) on Smart Small for R399 per month. I received my phone (Order no U967691) and voucher but no sign of the Galaxy Gear Fit. I phoned vodacom and spent more than 3 hours in the past two days trying to get someone to assist me with this. When they eventually take your call after half an hour they transfer you from person to person to person and nobody can give you any assistance. I eventually left a message on their web site for someone to call me back, 5 hours no call back. I really don't know how to solve a problem with a company that have no email addresses available. Where do you complain if people just keep cutting you off or transfer you to the next person that can't assist. There is no Manager you can speak to. How do you solve a problem with a company like this, they are also almost permanently offline...or is that just an excuse not to assist? At this stage I am considering sending back the phone and cancelling my contract.
