<p>Good day</p> <p>lets start at the begining I had a account with vodacom that i was paying and then i got retrenched in 31 August 2012, i send all my acounts at that time the letter of my retrenchment, now at this time i was already under debt counseling. Well in february 2016 i finnished with may dept counselling. in september 2016 I wanted to apply for something and found out that this Vodacom account was still under ITC listings so I contacted them and the told me that the account was clossed in the time 2012 and then given to debt collectors which did contact me back then and i told them i was under counseling and i also send them the letter of retrenchment. Sins then i have not heard from them until that september 2016 that i contacted them and now last week friday when i was at my bank they told me that my ITC report shows there is something on and i knew it can only be Vodacom. so as far as I know an account that they have not contacted you on more than 3 years was surposed to be written off, now they are telling me becuase i contacted them, they don't have to prescrib the debt and write it off! Now how was i sorpose to know this and what about the time before 2016 that I had no communications from them?????? is this fair????</p>
