"Client is Always Wrong" is apparently their watchword. based on my experience

This Company really needs to relearn the meaning of customers and the value of loyalty! Having been with Vodacom for many years, I can really say now that I am getting ********** big time, and when it comes to getting our of a contract, they are something else! Not the individuals at store level, it is coming from the top. Tried cancelling my contract as touring stopped with the Pandemic. At home more on Wi Fi thus less calls. Somecompanies assist people adjusting to the new circumstances. Not Vodacom, they go the other way! Tried cancelling (written) 3 times Sept.2020 again end 2020 & early 2021. No Luck.No response to my e mails telling me what to do!!! from Waterfront store, Dilan helpfully called it in *** in mid May. No SMS releasing my number (Portability)to go to another cheaper data source. Yesterday June 2nd I call them again to get my confirmation to be told its cancelled at the end of JUNE! So they can ding me another R398.00. This company needs to be challenged by the ombudsman for un businesslike practices probably ******* too! GO ELSEWHERE for YOUR DATA 7 airtime DEFINATELY check before signing Any contract with them! my suggestion based on recent experiences. My response was a bit slow because my partner is very ill & I aim her sole carer .
