Claims declined by Vodacom
I have a contract with vodacom for a cellphone and a tablet, I insured both the devices with them. The tablet is covered for accidental and damage cover, the Huawei nova is covered with comprehensive cover. The phone was covered immediately in store during the contract inception, after four days or so, Vodacom called me offering me insurance for both the devices I told them that the phone is already insured with them I opted to take the cover for the tablet but only covering it with the accidental and damage cover because the phone was already covered with comprehensive. Vodacom did not send me any insurance documentation, the screen for the plantablet got damaged after six months or so after signing up the Insurance policy with when I submit the claim it was declined the reason was that I do not have cover. I told them that I do have insurance for both devises during our conversation I noticed that vodacom has swopped the numbers for the devices, I brought that to their attention and vodacom promised that they will rectify the error as it was from their end. Now the Huawei nova phone is lost, I reported the matter at the police station and I do have the case number which was also sent to vodacom notifying them about the loss, I submitted the claim In store and emmediately did a sim swop but the claim was also declined because they said I do not have a cover even though I am paying the monthly premiums. Could someone (on magement level) call me to resolve this issue as soon as possible. Please contact me on ***. Or email ***
