Claim of an insured contract phone.

Hi, I have been your customer for years but decided to get a contract rather with your company . I bought a Huawei P30 pro, the network coverage was great, I could go anywhere and I would get the best network connection. I got my contract from the Vodacom shop in The Glen and I must say the customer service was excellent. Moving forward I left the shop went home, used the phone and I was happy with everything, service, network, I mean everything. I got ****** on the 25th of September, and I had taken insurance for my phone when I purchased it on the 30th of August, I went to the store to report the phone but I was referred to the police station, and I went to the station and got a case number. I went back to the store and gave them my case number along with the documents they needed of which I was told they are still processing my claim, after a while I was told that my phone had a few days to be fully covered so I could not claim it or get a new one..... Which I don't understand because before I left the store they said it was insured already. I was told that the insurance only kicks in after 30 days.. Like seriously people 30 days!!. I have decided to change to Telkom due to the bad service I got from VODACOM,even though it's the worst network. Now I'm scared that my credit profile will be bad cause I had decided to stop paying you guys because of the service and I would not pay for a phone I don't have can you please give a new phone so that I can start paying my contract. I was ****** and did produce everything that was needed for my claim, and I feel like it was not escalated to the head office and it is really not my fault that I was ******. Please contact me on ***
