Cheated by vodacom

So at end of Agust 2016 a debit goes off my account for vodacom for an amount of R8790 or something in that range.....just short of being R9000.00. I immediatley phoned them to find out what was going on and they informed me that i used data....???? I then explained it was impossible as i never use that cell number (sim card) and that i only recently upgraded that number. i also explained that when i did the upgrade the consultant who assisted me in their Menlyn branch told me that they have a promo that if you upgrade on certain packages/phones you get a once off 10gig data free. i then asked the consultant when the data will be available to use and he informed me that it will be loaded and available within 24 hours! So we made use of the data. It turns out the data we used was not free and i was billed for the data usage. I being very unhappy took this up with vodacom and after calling in contineuously i eventually received a PARTIAL credit. I then phoned in again and after still not receiving feedback decided to visit vodaworld in Midrand - they could not assist me. The answer i got from the consultant is that they would not be able to help me further but that i would have to settle the account. Very unhappy i complained via their facebook page, a consultant made contact with me and advised that he would log another dispute. I have been following up ever since and after yet another email from my side to vodacom this morning and still no answer regarding my query i have decided to share my unhappiness with others as i am so very unhappy with the service that i as a loyal customer with them for many years now am receiving. i feel that Vodacom is cheating their customers when it comes to data usage! At vodacom i pay R149 for 1 gig data.....went to fnb last week and to my surprise they gave me a free sim card and 1 gig data at only R65.00.....???? i mean....Really??? Vodacom is cheating us all!
