Cheapest Network _A|_ Worst client Service
My cell phone insurance was cancelled by Vodacom without my consent under the pretence that it was on my mother's name and not mine. This was however corrected without official explanation, re-instated and upgraded to a different spec phone. About a month after that, I had to claim water damage to my phone (Sony Experia Z2 - Waterproof 1.5m deep). I paid amounts required for the book-in and insurance claim. After 21 days, Vodacom comes back to me and charges in excess of R4000 because I had cancelled my insurance. I warned them of their actions and they reduced the price to R2000, 20% value, not 10.I have subsequently cancelled that insurance.Whats a R10 000 phone anyway between friends. On the 4th of May 2015 I asked them to move my debit order date from the 1st to the 7th of every month due to my salary being paid in later. They did that and confirmed that my next D/O would run 7 June 2015.However, it ran 3 days later to the amount of R2500 and some change. How can an account settled monthly in arrears, be charged double in a month? I have so far cancelled my wife's one contract with Vodacom and I still have another 4 as soon as they all come loose and will be moving to MTN.
