Charging me for item never received or activated

Good day, I would like to raise awareness about Vodacom, I have also logged a complaint with the NCC, so, to Vodacom - be on the look out for that correspondence.

I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with the continued notifications and statements I am receiving for a device that was returned to your offices and never activated. This item was cancelled on the same day it was ordered. I never received the package and I obtained the delivery note from Skynet that it was returned to your offices and never opened. Why are you charging me? I have been back and forth with myself and your *********** agents who can never find resolution. They do not even transfer me to someone superior when I request that and they just cut the call. Trace on your systems how many times I have contacted your call center. It is ridiculous.

I have contacted your agents on multiple occasions, and they have confirmed that all services related to this device have been removed from my account. Despite these assurances, I continue to receive these incorrect statements for services that were never in my possession or activated.

To resolve this issue, please investigate the call I made on 28/02/2025. The call reference number is 005E03836A20CE39. I spoke to Busi Khumalo. This call should verify that the device was returned and the services were to be terminated. I also spoke to another agent on 14-06-2025, Lumka, who transferred me to another department, and then the line got cut and I did not receive a call back.

On the 21 June i received an email from a no reply email address from Vodacom stating my number has been converted to prepaid. I have never requested this, as I want everyone off my name from Vodacom. Please advise what the heck you guys are doing there before I investigate all customers facing the same challenges and build a case to take to the media. I received a statement today, 08-07-2025, with a reduced balance for something still not in my possession or that I have ever used. Make it make sense, Vodacom????

Contact me on *** to let me know when you have removed this item off my name ASAP. ***
