Charging for promotional contract and refusing to cancel without penalties

In May 2020 I upgraded my contract and received a promotional Flexi 65 contract for free. In April this year, I wanted to cancel the flexi65 contract as I do not want to be billed for it. I was informed that the contract is until August and I should cancel it then. This month my invoice staded that I am being billed for the Flexi65 contract as the promotional period has ended. I have on multiple occasions contacted customer care which directed me to cancel the contract as it is no longer part of a promotion. But when I try to cancel it, the cancellations departement says I will have an early cancellation fee. After more calls I finnally had a consultant who said that it is wrong and should be cancelled now without fee. She then said she will cancel it and I'll receive an email. This happened two days ago and the contract is still not cancelled. Vodacom is now billing me for something I do not use and do not want and refuse to cancel a contract which ran it's 24 month period without charging me a fee.
