Charged without invoice sent
At the beginning of February Standard bank over charged me for their monthly fee and as a result my debit order for Vodacom was returned unpaid. As soon as I saw it I tried to contact Vodacom but kept getting cut off. I paid the amount. I took out another contract on the website on 17 February and was debited for the connection fee even though they promised no sim or connection fee. I was told 14-21 days before I get my money back. Now I look and I have been debited an extra R100 this month. I can see the invoice and none was sent to me. I have been a vodacom customer for over 6 years now and I have never missed a payment. Its not as if Vodacom submitted the debit order again, I paid the money over. Also what if I did not have extra money in the account where the debit orders go off? Then the debit order would bounce again and I would be penalised again. When they owe you money it takes nearly a month to get the money back. SO much for loyalty!
