Charged for calling customer Service
On the 28th of August I purchased 20 rand airtime with the intention of buying a 250mb daily bundle from Vodacom. After several attempts I finally contacted the call center where I was told that this was a problem from Vodacom especially on month ends.

I was told to restart my phone and try again only to realize 3 rand had been deducted from my account. I contacted Vodacom once again to find out what was happening and was advised that the system had not been updated and i should wait for 6 hours. After completing the call i checked my balance once again and another 3 rand had been deducted.

As I had urgent work, I purchased an additional 10 rand airtime and my balance was now suddenly 21 rand meaning an additional 3 rand had been deducted.

As my data had been switched off i can only conclude that Vodacom charged me for calling their customer care line on 111.
