Charged for BIS when upgraded to Sumsung
Hi the I upgraded to a Samsung phone as I was told that BIS was no longer going to be available. Towards the end of my two year contract I became aware that I was being charged for BIS but I didnt hv a Blackberry phone.
In July I became aware that I was being charged for BIS but since I upgraded to a Samsung phone it should hv been cancelled. The call centre lady confirmed that the deductions had been going off since the beginning of the upgraded contract and advised that I go to the Vodacom shop to enquire.
I did this in June as my contract was coming to an end at the end of July.
The manager at the time at the CapeGate store was Suzaan. She said she would hv to contact head office to see what was on the paper work. I heard nothing from her and went back to the store two weeks later only to hv to explain everything again which clearly indicated to me that my query was not bring investigated.
I went back two weeks later and was given paperwork that it was resolved but when I got home and went through the documents it was a different Crowster's paperwork and not mine. When eventually I went back..she was unavailable. I asked to be called but no one did. So I went back to the store to find a new manager by the name Ulricht who had to start from scratch. I had filled in paperwork with regards to change of bank details and giving instruction for my final payment to be deducted from what was owed to me. Needless to say Ulricht couldnt find any paperwork.
I hv been back an forth to Ulricht since late November and still the issue is not resolved. Two weeks ago I was in the store and promised to speak to a Chris at Headoffice and call me.
To date since my first query in June, I hv been promised that they would call but to date, more than six month later, not one person has called me.
Went to see Ulricht again today, who told me he requested copies of paperwork as HO is saying that it was requested, however Chris is on leave till the 8th Feb and thereafter he, Ulricht, will be on leave for another week.
In the meantime I receivec a letter from Vodacom lawyer demanding the final contract payment for end July which I had asked be deducted from what they owe me.
When I explained my dilema to him and that I am waiting 6 months for my query to be resolved, he emailed me back saying that my query will not be handled until I pay them..
