Changing your mind to replace a device and then quote for repair!

Took my device in for repair on 09 December 2016 (Job no. ********** 3). I was told, after having phoned multiple times for an update, on 22 December that the device was going to be replaced but no stock countrywide (Loch Logan repair center in Bloemfontein). I would have to wait for January 2017. All fine and well. On Saturday 14 January 2017 I get an SMS saying my device was booked into the advanced repair center. I got a call on Wednesday 18 January 2017 from Celeste at Loch Logan that the device was NEVER booked in before 18 January 2017 and Johannesburg repair has quoted for repairs of the device. This tablet has not been maliciously damaged - the charging port stopped working. Was basically told that charging your device can lead to damage which you then pay for. When sending my tablet in - it was under 3 months old. I refuse to pay for any repair as this should be covered by warranty! There is NO service from Vodacom. Celeste told me she would call me back by end of business on Wed 18 January 2017 but failed to do so. I called this morning (20 Jan 2017) only to be told she hasn't heard anything back and didn't think it necessary to even let me know she hasn't heard anything back yet. She also can't explain why the tablet was sent to the advanced repair center when I was told I would be getting a replacement. Should Vodacom fail to repair under warranty or replace the device - I will be cancelling my contract with immediate effect and every other contract I have with them. THIS IS APPALLING AND UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR FROM THIS COMPANY! You do not go back on your word!
