Changing to Vodacom ESim

Struggling to have my physical sim card changed to ESIM. Went to the Vodacom store in Maponya mall and I was told they don’t offer that service ( to change my physical sim to ESIM). I was told I must go to Vodacom store at trade route mall and I did that . Only to be told that the system for changing physical sims to ESIM is “down”. Then I went forward to contacting customer care to find out where I can have this process done. I was informed that I can go to Jabulani mall to have it done. Went to Jabulani mall and there I was told to contact customer and have it done over the phone so I left. Got home and contacted customer care only to be told the process needs to be done in store and I need to get a QR code. Had to go back to the store and purchase a QR code then I was future told I will receive a confirmation code and I have to scan the code after 3 hours and attach the verification code. 3 hours went by but nothing. No code. Called the store and asked to be put thru the consultant that was helping me previously Only for him to tell me there’s nothing he car do now and I need to call customer care for further help

I’ve been back and forth at the store with no progress about the matter and I’ve been constantly told to try Sandton Vodacom store. Then I’m told to try South Gate Vodacom store.

Honestly I don’t understand what’s going on Is it they don’t know how to do their jobs Our do all these Vodacom stores use different system Or just changing from physical SIM card to ESIM is just a hassles. Honestly this hole up and down has had me loose my trust with Vodacom services. If I’m already having such a hard time changing my sim. I can only imagine the struggle it’s going to put me thru the day I experience an issue with the ESIM Because already consults tell you they don’t know and tell you to try another store
