Change of Ownership

The worst service experience with Vodacom.

I did a change of ownership for a contract, which ended up taking longer than 1 month to process. Thereafter I found out the previous account was in arrears when I wanted to upgrade my contract, for which no one ever received a notification on the outstanding amount. This should have been communicated to me, or the amount should have been added to my latest Invoice after change of ownership. I had to them pay this amount, along with being incorrectly invoiced during that period. Even getting my Invoices sent to my email has taken me 3 months to resolve.

Along with the above, apparently when doing a change of ownership, you then extend your current contract with a further 24 months, which does not allow me to upgrade on the original date. Absolutely pathetic, no one at Vodacom Festival Mall ever informed w.r.t this extension of the contract.

Every time I speak to Vodacom, it adds another 24/48H to get to the next step of dealing with a very simple problem. Just wasting a lot of time for any customer as you need to sit for hours on the phone or visits to the stores.

Cancelling my contract as soon as I can.

Terrible Service from Vodacom.
