Change of banking details

I am very very frustrated. Last month I changed my banking details and confirmed the change telephonically, Vodacom deducted my debit order from the old account. This month I noticed that my debit order had not been deducted, I then phoned Vodacom and they said it was deducted on the 28th but was returned as unpaid. I explained that this is impossible as there certainly were funds available and there is nothing that reflects that the debit order was deducted and returned on my account. I do know that due to my account being an FNB Transmission account, I have had some people say they have struggled to load me as a beneficiary, if this be the case, surely it would have happened at the point of capturing and then surely Vodacom should have called me to sort it out. I sent an email to ********** explaing the situation and also enclosing a copy of my statement where it clearly shows that there were funds available and that NO tranaction went through that account. I have since heard nothing. I will NOT be paying the R100 that Vodacom happily charges on all returned debit orders as this is NO fault of my own. My device is up for renewal in October and I am very tempted to change to another network as I have endless trouble with Vodacom and the service received from them. I need this to be recitfied as a matter of urgency as this is not only very frustrating but the inconvenience caused is infuriating. I was also told by the consultant that I cannot say that I did have funds available when the debit order was returned, this is an absolute insult to me and my intelligence. I would NOT have called Vodacom asking when the debit order will be deducted knowing that I deliberately did not pay or have funds available and I take that as a huge insult.
