Change of Address for Parcel Delvery is causing me to want to Change my Service Provider

i have been a Vodacom customer all my life and have never been so disappointed with them as I am recently. I ordered a phone package on the 11 of April 2019 as per one of their recent online deals as a birthday present for my daughter and initially was informed that my phones weren't in stock and now I am informed that my phones are sitting in a warehouse with their Delivery Service and I have been given the run around between Vodacom and their delivery Service (RAMS) since last Thursday the 25th of April 2019 regarding my delivery.

Initially it was delivered to the wrong address and after a change of address with Vodacom as requested by RAMS as it was policy that the change of address come via Vodacom and not the recipient of the parcel I had to confirm with both Vodacom and RAMS again on the day. I then expected delivery on 26th of April 2019 and received 2 more calls from RAMS and 2 from Vodacom informing us that the change of address was done, "AGAIN" and after waiting all day again on friday a very rude someboday at RAMS called to say the phone is with them and they cannot deliver on friday as their drivers had left and we wont get a delivery until Monday (today) the 29th of April 2019. After waiting until 10 30 am today I contacted RAMS twice again and was spoken to very rudely and cut off on both occasions when i asked to speak to a supervisor. I have contacted Vodacom to sort this out and now after having to get a bit rude and loud myself i might get my daughters birthday present today if I'm allowed too pick it up myself from Umhlanga which is about 60km from me or they will make arrangements for delivery which means another day off sitting at home and waiting for a parcel that might or might not be delivered and another disappointing day for my daughter when she returns home from school.

Why is Vodacom using such a useless inefficient Delivery service like RAMS if this is how they operated and cause Loyal Vodacom Customers to want to change service providers?
