Change contract to a Pre-paid

On Saturday, 12/11/2016 I went to Tygervalley Vodacom shop and completed 2 Cancellation request forms. I wanted to change mine and my husband's contracts to a pre-paid. I was told by Elzaine that it would take 30 days and I would receive a sms when done. On 15 Nov 2016 I get a sms from Vodacom Customer Centre, Thabiso Moutloatsi, confirming that my contract will be converted to pay-as-you-go on 31 December 2016 - 50 days later???? My husband gets a sms that his contract will be converted on 30 November 2016 - how can this be? The request for both our phones was done on same day, yet his contract is converted before mine - a whole month before???

Seriously, how does it take 30 / 50 days to convert your contract, especially since the original 24mth contract expired a year ago already.

MTN took 48hours to previously convert my husband's contract to a pre-paid.

I want my contract converted on 30 November 2016, like my husband's or before then. Surely it does not take soooo long to convert a contract ???

Service nowadays is really pathetic !!!!

Reviewer Update

I received a call from Rashieda Jattiem today, who confirmed that my conversion to prepaid on my cell number would also be done by 30 Nov 2016. I received an email with an attached Cancellation Quote. I previously confirmed that my husband and myself would like to retain our numbers on pre-paid, but did not confirm same to Rashieda.

Please can our numbers be retained on pre-paid? Do I need to sign the Quote and fax or email back, as I already gave telephonic consent for converstion to prepaid?

Thank you
