Cellular phone and Wi-Fi device not working

Good day Vodacom, after 19 days of constant struggle, we really do not know what to do anymore to get our Vodacom contract phone and wi-fi device in working order.

My husband, Johannes Herm**** van Eeden, upgraded his contract in September 2016 and the new contract was suppose to kick in the 1st October 2016. Instead, his contract has been “cancelled”. He started to phone from the 31st October to the 082111 number to try to find out what the problem is. Numerous people told us the contract is in place, but the credit limits for the phone and Wi-fi set is not loaded and we must wait for 48 hours for it to be fixed. They have also told us to switch of the phone, take out the battery and simcard, wait 30 minutesbut everything back and restart the phone again. Nothing is working!!!! He phoned the Call Centre every day for assistance, but nobody can help / not willing to help / maybe doesn’t know what to do, etc . Everyday they tell us he must wait 48 hours and then it will work!! But it is not working!! how many 48 hours must we still wait??? The best is since last week Vodacom blocked his phone and he cannot even phone the call centre on the 082111 number anymore.

He went to the Vodacom4U Alberton City Mall where he signed the contract, every day since Monday , the 14th November, for their assistance. Needless to say that they are also stuck with the same problem….nobody at Helpdesk can / will help!

We are going to stop the debit order now and will take Vodacom to court if need be because they are in bridge with the contract. The debit order took the money on the 28th October, but we are unable to utilize the service! We are stuc**** The worst is that we are living on a farm, and we cannot phone the Police station or any other emergency people if need be. We are 25km away from Alberton!

VODACOM’S SERVICE IS BAD, BAD, BAD….REALLY BAD, BAD, BAD
