Cellular network that doesn't provide any.

My phone was ****** Saturday evening, and I called early Sunday morning to blacklist the phone with the consultant saying 'They dont blacklist on sundays', but they can block the line.

Called again and another consultant immediately blacklisted the phone and simcard. They said it could take up to 48 hours to recieve the ITC number before I could file a case with the police and therefore even longer to claim from insurance.

I went to the Vodacom shop to ask for the next steps and they had everything on their system already. (and Id waited in the queue for at least an hour).

Sent in the insurance form for approval, and went to get another phone on contract. Went into Vodacom again on Monday (waited in line for another hour) and sat with the consultant for another hour, only to be told that nothing can happen because their system is down.

Went back on tuesday, waited in line again for 45min, and it took an hour and a half to complete the process for getting a new phone. They said the sim swap should be activated in 6/7 hours.

23 hours later the sim was activated, but they did not unblock the line, so nothing worked anyway. Called Vodacom on 3 separate occasions only to be told to wait longer, and each consultant said that they had unblocked the sim.

Went into Vodacom AGAIN, this time waiting in line for over an hour, for the consultant to tell me that its just the system delaying the process.

I now recieve messages and data, but everytime I try make a call it still says my line in suspended.

The whole purpose of Vodacom as a business is to provide a cellular network, and its just not happening.

The consultants in store are so demotivated with the system that does not work, they dont even know what to tell customers anymore. They get the flack for bad management and its just not worth it for them or for the customers of Vodacom anymore.
