Since I have had a cell phone I've always been with Vodacom and felt that having insurance I was taken care off. Well that's only until recently when my phone broke unexpectedly. My phone just kept on freezing until it stopped working. This was going on for a few weeks until it really stopped working all together. Now I am told that my phone stopped working due to water damage. How is that possible when my phone has not gotten wet. Wouldn't water damage cause the phone to stop being operational, and not gradually quit on me? And to add insult to injury, I have to pay in R300 + R500(Extra for the so called water damage).

Why do I pay for insurance if the people that assess the phone make sure that you are conned into spending more?? What's the point of insurance if I have to pay for access and water damage assessment, even though there was never water damage??

Really disappointed and appalled Vodacom client.
