Cellphone upgrade lies

Good day,

So I have been due for a upgrade since early May. I went to numerous Vodacom stores and all the specials that has been advirtised. My mom and I both found exactly what we wanted, we then went to a store to do an upgrade and that is were all the problems started. I wanted the new S8 with the Samsung S3 frontier, my mom wanted the S8 with the gear fit 2, as advertised by Vodacom and all the staff.

When busy with the upgrade they informed us that there is no stock, stock will be received the following week.

We placed an order for both devices. the following Wednesday we went back, and same story, again it was said that there is no stock, stock will arrive in 2 days time, like I dont have anything else to do but go back and forth to the store.

This kept on happening everytime we went back to the store.

After all this now after being advertised for a month my mother cannot upgrade to what she wants as the Gear fit 2 special has since been discontinued. This carried on every week in June, again phoned Vodacom 4U and the consultant said the Frontier will arrive 3rd. Again after going in to the store the same thing, no stock has been received, i need to come back on the 21st of June.

I went back yesterday same outcome, i then lost my temper to an extent because Vodacom does not care about a customer, you are merely just a number and they couldnt care less, I dont understand how MTN and Cell C both have the same stock but yet in 2 months Vodacom has had none.

Even the vodaco consultant told us that we are way to loyal she would have left after the third time of hearing the same bad excuse.

I am beyond frustrated with the terrible service and fed up with all the lies they tell to try and keep a customer.
