Cellphone Repairs

Hi,

I took it in my phone to Vodacom Eastgate for repairs and I was advised that the cellphone has been exchanged for a new item but when the device came back, it was someone's phone that they have been using since February. The minute I received that cellphone I opened to check if it was really new. They even put a screen protector that did not even fit the screen. That was when I started having doubts if it was a new device.

I opened the box and checked the phone. I switched it on and it had all these apps that one has to download when the phone is new. I went to the photo gallery and I found pictures that were taken in February already. I felt disgusted by the service I received from Vodacom.

I immediately asked for the phone to go back and I am sitting without a phone even on this day. I fail to understand what processes are being followed here. It is literally 3 weeks that my phone has been with these guys. How long does it take to exchange a cellphone? I honestly feel disgusted by the service I am receiving from Vodacom Eastgate.
