Cellphone repair complaint.
The following is a sequence of events relating to our dealings with Vodashop at Moffet on Main:
7 April 2015: Phone taken for repair as it was not working:
16 April 2015: Vodashop contacted us and said the phone was ready for collection.
On arriving at home it was found that the phone was still not working.
16 April 2015: Phone returned to Vodashop Technical Workshop. Job No ***2
29 April 2015: Received a message that the phone was ready for collection.
5 May 2015: Went to collect the phone from Vodashop. We were informed that the phone USB Port and motherboard were damaged due to abuse. So would not be repaired.
5 May 2015: Reported this whole matter to Mr du Toit at Vodashop and he recommended we elevate this matter to vodacom repairs escalations.
5 May 2015: Job no received by SMS -***6.

AFTER HAVING RECEIVED ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSE FROM VODACOM REPAIR ESCALATIONS, we have been informed by the repair centre that the phone is ready for collection, unrepaired.

We find this inconceivable and categorically deny any abusive handling of the cell phone in question. We find it demeaning and insulting to make such false accusations in the absence of any proof of abuse
