Cellphone Repair

My daughters fairly new Samsung S3 suddenly wouldnt go on after being on charge. As it was under contract i didnt want to take it to a non guaranteed dealer. Thus i took it to the Vodacom shop in my area which is Chatz in Waverley Plaza. They send it to Vodacom Repairshop. After 6 weeks no reaction. Chatz says its Vodacom. Vodacon says the problem is with Chatz. Found out that Chatz send it to be recycled. Luckily we could stop that in time. After a new jobcard was isued i got the quote R1525. Unsure of what this amount is for i phoned the number supp**** by Chatz.I had to Pay The monies over to Jescom . I phoned them and they confirmed what i am paying for which was a new screen (as it was damaged previously) and the startup problem will be fixed. I told them the screen is not the problem and wasnt the cause of faulty phone. They insisted the screen must be fixed as well as the hardware - its policy. Therefore the amount is so high. I reluctantly paid. After nearly 12 weeks and R1525 i got he phone back working but screen still cracked.
