My daughter Chantel Breedt has a cellphone contract with Vodacom. She upgraded yesterday from a S4 to a S6. She put the phone on charge last night and this morning when she wanted to use the phone there was problem. The phone did not want to accept the sim pin and kept on freezing and then we took the phone back to branch where she upgraded. The branch manager informed us that the phone has liquid damage apparently. Now I know my daughter did not have the phone near water. And the Branch manager sends us to the local mtn shop where a Samsung technician works. He informed us he is not allowed by law to touch the phone as the phone has that 7 day warranty thing if there is a problem with the phone Vodacom must exchange the phone. Now we would also to know if there is liquid damage how is that possible as they claim the S6 is dust and liquid proof.

The Vodacom branch landline number is ***
Regards

Anton
