Cellphone contract
Very very bad experience with my Vodacom contract phone in May,So I upgraded at Makro Crown Mines in Feb 2020.May 2020 my A20 Samsung phones battery died phoned ,Vodacom customer care like about 2weeks in a row no help at all.One of the Customer care Agent told to take my phone to a repair store which I did,Phone has a very small crack on the screen ,which I told them I am not worried about the screen I am more worried as my phone does'nt switch on,fine they quoted me on the screen, battery, tape, etc R2300,which the value of the phone is about R2800 like really at Vodacom Eastgate, phone is 3mnths old which I am not there for the screen,I refused as the screen is not shattered at all only a very small crack that you wont even notice.phoned Vodacom customer care again explained my story to one of the agents which actually agreed with me,told me to take it back to where I bought it which is Makro Crown Mines, well took it back to Makro Crown Mines also refuses to replace my battery as the screen is slightly cracked explained again myself according to them phone is physically damage,(which I dont understand as the battery is not working) due to the small cracked on it and they don't do partially repairs,so now I sit with a phone 4mnths old not working, how in the hell would I know after 3months battery gonna give in,as screen is cracked my warranty falls away, but the thing is I did not take my phone in for a damn screen I took it in as the damn phoned does not switch on or charge at all, what does my screen have to do with the stupid battery that is not working, what a flippen ******* that Vodacom and Makro Crown Mines trying to make money out of people, why not just replace my damn battery and not worry about the screen. So Flippen annoyed and Irrated with them I really thought that Vodacom is good but I was mistaken as I have so many contracts with them...So now I must pay a phone that is not working as both Vodacom and Makro Crown Mines refuses to assist me.Well I even told one of the Vodacom agents that I am willing to pay just for the screen as long as they don't charge me for the battery.
