Cell phone repair

My parents are both pensioners and they have been struggling for almost 5 months (from 23 August 2016) to have their samsung cell phone repaired at the Vodacom outlet at the Midlands Mall in Pietermaritzburg. The phone loses reception and switches itself off and is still under warranty according to the contract. It has been back and forward at least 8 times and each time the problem persisted on the same day that they got it back. Despite not being able to use the phone they are still paying the full amount on their Smart S contract each month. Numerous queries have gone unanswered and feedback has been extremely poor. The last time they took the phone to the branch at the Midlands Mall they were not given a job number or asked to sign any documentation, but were told the phone would be taken to Samsung. The phone has now been there three weeks and when contacted to find out when we can expect the phone back, the staff says they will phone back but never do. This is absolutely shocking service but what you have come to expect from Vodacom.
