I have had a really bad experience with Vodacom regards with regards to personal contract information "sharing" without permission and Fica related issues. I have a 2-year top-up contract with ONLY MY cell phone number. All of a sudden, a second cell phone was linked to my contract and when my data was almost used up, this second " ******* Cell Number" would get notification that my bundle rate was running low and needed to be topped up. The "*******" person on my contract would then forward the sms to me. I told this "******* user" that I had reported the *****, which made the person jump through hoops to have it " fixed" at Vodacom (when I had no satisfaction from Vodacom) Now I sit with a different problem!!I am getting ******* users sms notifications for data that needs to be topped up. 1)Firstly, how can Vodacom manage to avoid FICA regulations by placing an unknown user on my account? 2)How does Vodacom "Fix the problem" by keeping me linked to the "******* User" and sending me the other users top-up messages? 3) What is happening here is outright ***** being allowed by someone in Vodacom. I think it is time This ***** is is being reported to the police and the ombudsman as Vodacom is certainly to blame for allowing this to happen, and I have" All" the evidence on my cell phone backed- up, should Vodacom dispute this!!!
