Cell C And vodacom part of cell number theft!!!!

SUPER BAD EXPERIENCE FROM VODACOM AND CELL C!!!! So this is very worrisome that two service providers took part in something that appears like ***** on my Husbands cellphone number. Let me begin: 2 weeks ago my husband started receiving messages and phone calls on is number from unknow people looking for another person with the samE number. He also received sms’s with data to be loaded and airtime. He immediately contacted both the service providers and alerted them about this issue that his number he had had for 23 YEARS Is being used by someone else. He is a current Cell C customer on a CONTRACT!!!! It was told by both the service providers that they will log a query and investigate. The next moment on Tuesday 23 November 17:32 he gets a message from CELL C THAT HIS NUMBER HAS BEEN SUCESSFULLY PORTED TO VODACOM!!!! How is this even possible!!!!!!! He did not request the port nor has he approved it. We then spent 2 hours on the phone with both service providers only to be told it’s the other ones fault!!!!! This doesn’t matter he did not request the porting of the number from Cell c to VODACOM nor has he signed for anything but still CELL C WENT ahead and ported the number to another customer. 2 Hours after the message that his number has been ported he receives a message SERVICE SUSPENDED!!!!!! NOW it is clear there was ***** committed with his number and ****** from him AFTER 23 YEARS!!! The problem is that not one of the service providers CELL C or VODACOM is HELPING US!! He is a sales rep and now he has now means of contact or being contacted. This is VERY Scary that two major service providers can do something like this without speaking to the actual owner of the number!!!!!!!! And just do it!!!! We need help here this has been an absolute struggle!!!!!!!!! No one is getting back to us!!!!! VODACOM AND CELL C taking part in suspicious PORTING AND CUTTING OF CONTRACT LINES!!!!! WHAT IS GOING ON AND FIX THE PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
