CC do not read logged requests
Nashua Mobile (NM) sold their business lines to Vodacom transferred around 2014/10. Our company requested an renewal of a data contract by email to NM. The email accepts an offered 2GB contract @R99 PM. The expiring contract was R299 PM.

It came to my attention that we have been paying R299 PM so the contract was not renewed according to our request and the same month the transfer to Vodacom took place. We didn't notice it before because this was part of a debit order for several contracts.

I've been around the block with the business call center 5 times since November trying to cancel the contract due to company closure. We have proof that the contract was not renewed correctly. Vodacom says I must contact NM (who have closed their stores) but they have also admited nothing can come from a call to NM.

We've been overcharged for 14 months and I have logged a service request to waive the early termination fee. This request has not been read even though all supporting documentation was sent with it because the response was simply that the contract is not expired and attached a quote for early termination. Vodacom is hiding behind the CC.
