Caught between a port and a hard place

I have been trying to port into MTN from Vodacom since 13 June 2017. Today is 24 June 2017 and this still has not happened. Vodacom keep blaming MTN and have completely incapable of solving the problem.

I have sent approximately 40 emails to Vodacom and MTN combined. Spoken to both the customer service and ports departments of both MTN and Vodacom everyday for the last 11 days. I've visited both stores in Kenilworth centre in Kenilworth, Cape Town almost every day for the last 11 days and no one can adequately explain why the port has not happened.

All anyone ever does is log a service request and each time I phone I speak to a different person and have to explain everything over again.

When I previously logged a complain about this on this sight the were quick to respond so that it looks like they care about the customer to protect their brand image but the problem is still not solved.

I am a clinical psychologist working with mentally ill and suicidal patients who have been unable to reach me on my cellphone number for over 10 days. This has Medico legal implications for me. It has also had implications for receiving payments as I use only my cellphone to run my business and use mobile card payments linked to my cellphone.
