Cat cellphone

I have a cat cellphone which is supposed to be shock resistant I dropped it by accident and the screen cracked, when I send it for repairs they wanted me to pay R2500 for the screen. According to me it is default on the phone because I dropped it about half a meter and they say it is save to drop up to 1.8 meter. I only had the phone for 3 months when this happened.
