Cash taken in Store but no receipt offered

I visited the Vodacom Shop at Lifestyle Tzaneen yesterday.

I needed them to download Whatsapp on my Samsung (contract) phone.
I was told that it will cost me R80.00.
I had no problem with the paying of the R80.00 fee, but I do have a problem with the fact that the R80.00 went straight to the pocket of the guy who assisted me, and I did not receive any receipt for the R80.00 paid.
Right in front of my eyes he put the R100 in his pocket and gave me R20 from his pocket.
NO receipt was offered.
How can a company as large as Vodacom run their business that way.
How do you keep track of money paid or is that fee actually meant to be for the staff dealing with the service rendered pocket?
I do realize that no service can be offered for love and charity in these days, but at least one's payment should be acknowledged by way of a receipt offered?
