Carmen from Vodacom call centre is a ****-dont trust a word she says

I was **** to and conned by a lady named Carmen who called me after an online chat on vodacoms website. She told me with absolute confidence that I could transfer data from a contract Sim to a prepaid Sim and encouraged me to upgrade my data contract so I could transfer the data to my prepaid Sim and get more data at a better rate. After agreeing to this and upgrading to a 5gig data contract she told me it would only cost me a total of R99 per month. After the call I tried to transfer data from the one Sim to the other and was unable to do so. I went to vodacom chatz store at the fern in randburg, whose service is excellent and they told me it was not possible to transfer the contract from a contract Sim to a prepaid. I had to do a Sim swap and get the smaller Sim and place it in my phone so now I cannot use my storage card in my phone!!. I then a week later received an invoice from vodacom to say my next month's bill would be R163!!!. I was totally conned and have to now waste my time trying to sort this out this mess and can never use a storage card in my phone if I want to use the 5gigs of data in my phone and keep my prepaid cellphone number as well.

Reviewer Update
I contacted Vodacom customer care the day I posted my complaint on this portal and was put through to a consultant and colleague of Carmen, whose name was Celeste. She offered to put me back in contact with Carmen again and naturally I refused as I was angry with her and realized she was a smooth talker. Celeste offered to log my complaint by email with their manager who is apparently Sameera Chetty. I requested Sameeras email address which I was told was ***. I emailed Sameera and have to date still not received a response from her. However Carmen has called me twice and made one excuse after the next, first saying she didn't intend to mislead me when in fact she blatantly and knowingly **** to me regarding the transfer of data from a contract Sim to a prepaid Sim. Before her call to me, my monthly data contract fee had always been R113 per month. She explained that the new contract would be activated from the beginning of August and my next bill at the end of August would be reduced to R99. However a week later I received the invoice of R163 due end of August. Today Carmen called and basically tried to wriggle her way out of taking responsibility and said that as she is in sales she is not responsible for accounts, despite the fact that my account fee went up directly after she gave me a "special deal" for a 5gig contract from August. I am really struggling financially and cannot afford these additional costs. My original online query was about transferring data so I could save money as I desperately need to cut my costs. I insisted that Carmen communicate through her manager, with their accounts department and sort out the mess she initiated in conning me into an upgrade under false premises. If I do not receive a corrected invoice from Vodacom within 24 hours I will definitely be taking this further on various platforms.
