CARE LESS AND DISGUSTING APPROACH!
VODACOM COMPLANT - ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
I have had my contract with Vodacom since the introduction of cell phones in South Africa - same account, same number! For years and years my account has been paid with the same reference, from the same account, to the same account. For the last about 18 months, EVERY MONTH, I get recorded messages on my phone to say I haven’t paid and I must pay or I will get switched off. Not once or twice a day, but ALL day long. Not a person to talk to, a recording. So I must phone and waste my time to follow up on your inefficiency. After mailing POP a few times the money gets allocated and we wait for the next month. This month I have now reached the end! I have had so very many recordings, as usual. I called and sent through the POP TWICE!! Still no allocation to my account. On the 5th April I got a call in-between the recordings. I explained the situation for the 100th time. I was told to send the POP AGAIN. I said I was not in the office and could he please call my office and speak to Ilze.
Hope Mopanya from Vodacom, then called Ilze, and when Ilze tried to explain she was extremely rude to her. She then resent the POP history, as well as the POP, and copied me. Third time sent!!! YESTERDAY my phone was cut off!
WHAT MORE SHOULD WE DO TO PROVE TO YOU THAT MY ACCOUNT IS ALWAYS PAID UP AND YOU HAVE MY MONEY IN YOUR BANK ACCOUNT? After phone calls and proof of payments, what do we do? I have never experienced such inefficiency! I am now seriously considering going to MTN as my husband does not have these issues there!
It does not appear that Vodacom either have the will, or the interest in keeping my account.
This morning while I was writing this Ilze called and got hold of a supervisor and spoke to him. He said there is no Hope Mapanya working there!! ********** is the email address used for the correspondence and we received a response from this very same Hope. Today she doesn't work there and hasn't worked there!! I rest my case!!!!
