Can't wait to be rid of Vodacom. Stay away from them at all costs.

If I could give -5 stars, I would. Vodacom is absolutely horrible. They have set up their system in such a way that they are robbing their customers and it is impossible to get out of contracts fairly. My problem: I need a dual sim phone. Vodacom goes and takes all dual sim capable phones and locks the second sim functionality while you as the customer still pays the same amount for the same device. Now I have decided to cancel my contract, but to do that you have to pay a hefty penalty fee, and they do not even give you the remaining airtime THAT YOU ARE PAYING FOR UPFRONT. Then I decided to just change my number, get my current number on prepaid and port it to a different network, so that I can continue to pay vodacom monthly until the contract reaches its end after which I will cancel it. Thay way I am able to keep my number, which I cannot lose due to close to 1000 customers of mine having it. Only problem is they refuse to give me my current number on prepaid when changing my contract number. In other words, as they have explained to me, I NEED to pay the penalty fee if I would like to keep my number. So now they are not only robbing customers of dual sim functionality while making them pay for it, they are also ******ing money out of me to keep MY number, since they make it impossible to keep in any other way. Do you know why vodacom is blocking all dual sim functionality? Because they know you can get data cheaper at afrihost or other networks, but as soon as you realize that, it's too late and you are already trapped by their terms and conditions. Please never make the same mistake I did and stay the HELL away from the cancer and AIDS that is vodacom.
