Can't get my phone repaired

I am on a Vodacom contract and my handset is still under warranty. Vodacom promises a loaner phone of same standard as my handset should I need to hand in my handset for repairs. Initially, Vodacom Repairs in Cresta told me that no loaner smart phones where available but they would get stock the following week. My name and contact details were taken down. Now, more than a week later, there has been no attempt from Vodacom to reach me and my repeated calls to the shop does not help.

"Sorry", "Due course" are all very fine words. However, action would have been better. My contract is coming up for renewal and I am seriously considering if Vodacom is the right partner for me.

So, I finally managed to borrow a phone from a colleague and handed my own phone in for repair. Two days after handing the phone in I was pleasantly surprised when I got a message that the phone was ready for collection. I picked up the phone and the lady told me that the problem had been around a software update. A little surprising since I always keep the phone up to date. Now, 2 days later, the same problem is back . This really is becoming a generally bad experience.
