Cant get my money back
Vodacom please get you act together. I have been trying for the last 12 days to get my money back from you. On the 12 February I transferred money incorrectly to Vodacom. I logged a case with the call centre on the same day to have the money
On the 18th I went into the Vodacom Mall of Africa store to check on the progress only to find out that the case was closed, because no proof of payment was provided. NO ONE from Vodacom called me to request the proof of payment. I know this because I saw the records of the case and the comms that was sent to me. I then sent the proof of payment to the un-interested assistant at the Mall of Africa store while I was there. He attached it to the case and sent it off.
Oh and on a side note, please teach your store assistants at Vodacom Mall of African Store that it is very rude to call another customer over when you have not finished assisting the current customer you are dealing with, also teach them how to apologise to your customers for poor service, instead of having and blank vacant look on their faces.
I then went to the Rosebank store this Wednesday, to get an update, now guess what the brilliant Vodacom staff did. The store assistant at the Mall of Africa store attached the proof of payment to the closed case and no one has been looking at it. Now the staff at Rosebank store say they cannot do anything to help, I the customer must call the Account department and sort it out, apparently Vodacom’s account department does not talk to the instore staff, how brilliant a business process is that from Vodacom.
Now I, the customer, at the Rosebank store is on hold waiting to speak to someone at the Vodacom Accounts Department. I get to the Agent and he says that the case has been closed, he can see the attached proof of payment on the case, but he has to log another case and I need to wait another 7 working days. Seems Vodacom’s agents cannot take accountability for Vodacom’s errors.
I’m sorry ……. but why do I have to wait another 7 working days because of Vodacom’s stuff up. I then asked that I get a call from the Account Departments manager, it is now Friday and no call from the manager of the Accounts department
Vodacom here are the case ref numbers: First one 1- ********** ********** Second one 1- ********** **********
Please do the leg work and resolve this, considering your employees, from 2 stores and the call centre, have done sweet nothing to assist in any positive way for the last 12 days.
