Cannot complain about service when there is no service...
Online upgrades, one star because I cannot select less...
Did an online upgrade late in March, called to confirm upgrade and jumped through all the hoops. Received confirmation of the order on 25 March, called again to confirm. Was informed shipment will be after 1 April (that should have been a clue I guess). No further communication since then. Called today 2 April to follow up just to be told the order was cancelled, with no explanation or communication who cancelled it and why. Now sitting waiting for an explanation after being told 'we will phone you back immediately'. And of course now the item I wanted is Out of Stock!
If this is how Vodacom treats clients who have been with them for more than 25 years, I shudder to think how new clients are treated. Or maybe new clients are treated better, I will not be surprised.
Really poor, sadly the choices of mobile service providers in South Africa leaves little to be desired, but maybe time to see if there is better service elsewhere, and/or just cancel everything (4 contracts) and go pre-paid. No further communication since then
The result of Vodacom's incompetence is that the deal and devices I wanted, which was in stock, IS NO LONGER IN STOCK!
The best I could get from Vodacom was a 'Sorry for the inconvenience' - which is meaningless and does not contribute to a solution at all.
It is clear Vodacom could not care less about their clients.
Using my mobile number which I had to enter when I wrote the review, it should be easy for Vodacom to find out what the situation is.
If you do that and find a solution, feel free to contact me.
If there is no acceptable solution, do not bother.
I will not be holding my breath for a sensible response.

It does not resolve the problem.
It does not correct something caused by Vodacom incompetence or lack of care.
Time to start exiting out of contracts as and when they come up.
I may be a single client out of many, but I dare Vodacom to calculate the amount I have spent over all these years, currently at over R50K per year, which is peanuts for you, but quite significant for me.
Please do not bother replying or contacting me again unless it is with a solution to the issue your agents created, one of them lying to me outright.
