cannot change contract

i have recently changed my contract but wish to upgrade it to a VIP contract and for my company to take the contract over, every time I phone, the operator can only say you must wait 3 months, I use my phone for work purposes and don't want to wait, my present contract is for R499 and the new one I want is for R1999, does Vodacom not want more business
