Cannot cancel my contract

I have been trying to cancel my contract for a couple of months now.

I initially called in one month before my contract was to expire to cancel it, a couple months later i was still receiving statements - which was suprising. I called back to Vodacom to ask them why my contract was still not cancelled - i did not have a reference number as i did not think to write it down the first time. However i kept the refence number the second time 1- ********** ********** and i spoke to Joseph.

Joseph still managed not to cancel my contract, i dont know why. I think perhaps these cancellaton agents sit in the office, receive requests to cancel which they just conveniently ignore and hope you will not have the refernce number later to prove it so they can deny that you ever called.

At the time, i even went to the Facebook page for Vodacom to raise my concern there, I had to leave evidence everywhere that i have been trying to get some help to cancel my contract and to resolve my complaint with Vodacom before coming to this platform.

Imagine the suprise on my face when i receive another statment from Vodacom today - jeez, contract still not cancelled? what?

I call again, i am told to give them the reference number - this time i was prepared ha. So if i did not have the reference number and the evidence on my facebook, they would have claimed again that i never cancelled - how convenient. The lady says she can only cancel it for the end of this month, what? She said she would get her supervisor, which she never did - and guess what, did not give me a reference for this call - so i cant prove the third time that i called again to cancel.

Is vodacom serious, this is the fastest way to get rid of your faithful clients, i have used Vodacom all my life but trust me, i will be switching after this daylight roberry and playing tricks just to milk faithful clients of their hard earned money for services that were cancelled fairly, contractually as agreed.
