Cancelled contract automatically reinstated without consent
- My mother took out a contract via incredible connection for R199p/m inclusive of a Huawei P9 lite. - The contract was supposed to port her existing Vodacom prepaid number to contract. - Incredible Connection messed it up, and a new number was issued on the contract. - After a lot of back and forth, Incredible Connection cancelled this new contract, and started another contract, which this time ported her prepaid number to contract. - The original P9 lite that was issued remains in my mothers possession and she is using that phone. - No new phone was given out with the second contract, as the second contract merely replaced the first. - My mother lost out on R199 in July as she was charged for both contracts, but she wrote it off. - In August, she only paid R199, which is correct as only one contract is active. She does not have a second sim card, doesnt know the number for it, and has not used any data/airtime on it. - Come September however, and she is suddenly charged for it again, and is charged R398 instead of R199. - I have called Vodacom, contacted Incredible Connection, both on numerous occasions, and I am at my wits end with no luck being made.
What I want: - Cancel the first contract as it is not used. - Refund the R199 that was deducted for September for the first contract. - The second contract (and should be the only contract) should continue at R199 per month.
I am at my wits end. Please help!
