I cancelled my contract with Vodacom on 10 June, the agreement was supposed to come to an end on 10 July. I gave the requisite 1 month notice. The call centre agent I dealt with told me on 31 July Vodacom would still bill my account. To which I was fine. i converted to prepaid on 1 August and was buying airtime, buying data, which is anyway so expensive. I decided to convert to cell C. To my suprise, I received a bill from Vodacom telling me that i must still pay an account for August. please explain this to me when I was on prepaid. Please explain to me why it is that these call centre agents are not properly trained. they do not explain these things to you when you are cancelling but suddenly when Vodacom feels that they want to deduct your hard earned cash, then they provide an explanation. If they do not know what to say they transfer you from pillar to post. Vodacom, i am not paying this account until I receive a full explanation what i am paying for. There is always somethinmg extra to pay for, something you clearly do not explain to ccustomers. i am not leaving this here and I will lodge a formal complaint until i receive a proper explanation.
Best regards,
