Cancellation without Instruction

So have you heard that nowadays just forwarding a blank document signifies your intention to cancel???
On 25 February I phoned with regards obtaining a quote to cancel my contract. I was telling the guy that I spoke to that I will only be paying for the device for the next two months and he argued that I will be paying for it until the contract cancellation in August. Based on what he told me, I requested the quote. Upon receiving the quote, i saw that the information received from this guy is incorrect and i rep**** to him to tell him. The email bounced back, because apparently that email address does not receive. I then forwarded the email to the [Email Removed] . The BLANK quote attached in his mail automatically then forwarded as well. So following this, I receive at least 4 phonecalls a day from Vodacom requesting money, and I don't know why they're asking, because I didn't cancel.
I then phoned Vodacom and spoke to a wonderful lady who put me through to cancellations. According to her, they cancelled my account because I forwarded the blank document to them. No signature required. Love how Vodacom makes their own rules. I did not request to cancel.
