Cancellation Trauma

After trying telephonically for almost 2 hours to give the required 1months notice to cancel, in desperation I sent an email with ALL my info and request to the cancellation dept. I also physically went to hand a copy of my said email to The Vodacom shop which sold the contract-package to me, The manager said he is not empowered to cancel contracts but sent my email to Vodacom. This was repeated for three months in succession as well as the reversing of the debit order at the bank.

Now Vodacom Threatens legal action

Thank you, HelloPeter.
Within days of my complaint ,Vodacom phoned and apologized, promising to cancel contract as requested on 11/6/2020. However, coming the month-end I was billed for ''5G Usage''. Pointing out that there is no 5G service in our area I was promised rectification. So far it seems to have worked.
Thank you HelloPeter
