When my contract was about to expire, I contacted Vodacom to switch my number to prepaid. I called them on the 31st of May and my contract expired at the end of June. I agreed that June would be my last month paying for the contract and from July, I would no longer require their service.

In June, I ported my number to MTN, which Vodacom APPROVED!!!

I have still been receiving statements for Vodacom, so I decided to investigate and was told that my initial request on the 31st of May was IGNORED and my contract is still active eventhough my number is not with the network. I was told that when my number was ported, they created a ghost number for me WHICH HAS BEEN RECEIVING THE CONTRACTS DATA.

A GHOST NUMBER? Are you serious?

So now I apparently owe Vodacom over R500.00 because U, Khozaj ignored my request to cancel my contract and they've been giving data to a number that they created under my profile WITHOUT MY CONSENT.

Who do I speak to about this?

I am not willing to pay for an employee's mistake.
