Cancellation Process Flawed

So my Vodacom account got suspended yesterday (2017-12-19) due to non payment of my account. Reason for the non payment was that Vodacom **********ly added 3 additional cellphone numbers as well as insurance to one of my existing numbers. Obviously their system is that flawed and nothing was signed for by me. I followed their process and got an affidavit with all the issues listed on there and submitted it as instructed. To date, I have had no meaningful reply from Vodacom regarding my queries except the harassing automated phone calls. I spoke to a gentleman in accounts who said that my lines would not be cut off until the outstanding items have been resolved.

Now I owe them an astronomical amount due to not paying for their ********** friends' accounts.

Next logical step if the service is this bad and i cannot get answers is to cancel my numbers with Vodacom and go to a real service provider. Now they are refusing that I cancel my contracts with them for being in arrears.

Was on the phone between retention, collections, cancellations and insurance this morning for more than an hour and when I try to escalate the matter, the superiors are mysteriously missing.

I have recordings of all the conversations had with Vodacom since this issue started and will gladly give all the information to the first newspaper that contacts me.

Hi Kindly note that almost a year down the line this is still an ongoing thing. On the 21st of December 2017 I spoke to a gentleman and he assured me the contracts are now cancelled and I didn't owe Vodacom anything. I have recordings of my conversations with this person and everyone I spoke to after that says this person doesn't exist or work there. I still have a huge amount outstanding showing on my account and have been threatened with legal action. When I queried the amount outstanding I was told they will request a statement and send it through. I still haven't received any statements or information or even the courtesy of a reply to my numerous e-mails. I seriously think Vodacom needs to rethink what customer care is.
