Cancellation process

On the 18th July 2022, I called the fibre support line due to potential latency being experienced from high ping and jitter . At the same time, I requested to load cancellation notice for the fibre service to be cancelled as of the end of August 2022. Received confirmation on the 21st July 2022 that cancellation process was set to start 1st August 2002. Received a call on the 22nd July to confirm that the service would officially cancel the 1st September 2022. Only for the service to be cancelled and terminated 2:26am 1st August 2022. Apparently, no one dealing with the cancellation was aware that the Vuma Reach services cancels immediately. I work from home and the requirement is a stable uncapped fibre service which means that for 2 days, I have not been able to work and due to it being and ISP issue, subjected to this being unpaid time which impacts me financially at roughly R1500 per day. I called and was informed that I would need to re-sign up as a brand new customer and be subjected to the standard provisioning timeframe (which I understand due to the ICT provider). I then decided to get in touch with the social media team which has no sense of urgency to actually resolve complaints. I have requested for contact details to raise this complaint besides 135 which have been ignored. I provided a potential resolution of interim mobile data to be added to one of my contract numbers so that I can Hotspot and work a but during this. This was ignored and no other solutions being provided other than, wait for our team to get back to you as it may take up to 30 days. I have had to go through the sales process again this morning as a back for this incase the social media team doesn't get it right but the question is then posed as who foots the bill for my unpaid time for an error cause internally due to knowledge gaps when I followed the process as advised of for cancellation? It's experiences like this that leave a sour taste against brands and making me regret renewing 2 my most recent contracts with the 3 current up for renewal this month but not completed cause maybe it's time for a new mobile provider after all these years.

Hi, yes I have been. The responses are not addressing concerns though and neither is your response now. I understand that the limitations of a provisioning process. My issue is now that I cannot work due to an error on your end. My daily rate is R1590 which is lost due to this. Calculated as my gross salary divided by the 22 working days per month. There is still no resolution being provided for the immediate problem of me not being able to work now. Atleast, as a minimum, you should be offering mobile data so that I can work from today otherwise, I'll have to resort to legal avenues to claim back my time lost which is currently 2 days @ R1590 per day. Please ensure that your responses actually address the contents of the review and not just notes available from your CRM systems.
